Relax!

Building doesn't have to be painful! Want proof? Ask our customers.

Our goal at MasterCraft Design & Build is to partner with you to build your new custom home, addition or remodeling dream.  We work hard to prevent the anxiety and uncertainty that is a part of so many housing projects.  We are in the home building business because that is what we love to do.

Building a home should be a fun and rewarding experience. We will walk with you throughout the entire process from design to move in.  We can bring our own architects into help with the design or work right along with your architect.  As we proceed with designs, we can update you with frequent budget estimates.  You can rest assured that you will have an accurate picture of your house budget as you go through the design process.  We will assist with all finish selections and will be glad to direct you to helpful suppliers that can answer any questions that you have.

You are able to question our quality at all stages of the construction process.   Feel free to walk the house at any time during the construction process.  We are glad to answer any questions that you have and discuss all options available.  We will proceed only when you are satisfied.

Our “Transparent Contracting” methods put the power of choice into your hands.  We will lay out all of the pricing options for you and let you make the final decisions.  You can rest assured that you are getting the maximum for your hard earned dollar.

As we complete your house, we will pay close attention to all of the final details.  Our select group of subcontractors will assemble all of the finishes for a polished and beautiful home.  Our “Extreme Quality Control” means that we will scrutinize all aspects of your home and make sure that the final product is something that you will be proud of for many years to come.

Green construction is rapidly becoming the “buzz” word in the construction industry.  We believe that you can use varying amounts or “shades “ of green in your home building project.  We are glad to help you sort through all of the options and make wise decisions that will benefit your home as well as the environment around it.  Look through our “Shades of Green” section for more information.

"After interviewing five general contractors for the job. I felt very comfortable with Steve and the impressive resume he presented. Having done most of the work on our house myself and with the help of my friends, I was not about to let just anyone rebuild our dream home.

With a list of excellent subcontractors, creative design, a good working knowledge of the residential industry and scheduling skills Steve was able to satisfy the insurance company and most important the homeowner. We were able to move in a week early. What a thrill."

"When we called you, you responded immediately.  You knew exactly how to coordinate with the insurance company’s adjuster. The craftsmen which you brought to the job were excellent and knew how to restore a 1924 house to its original look using modern materials."

Alan & Judy B., Webster Groves, MO

I wouldn’t say building a house is easy; but Steve made the process rewarding by keeping us involved in every step of the process from design to completion. Steve was easy to work with on all the upgrades and kept detailed records of the progress to stay on schedule. We have a beautiful home we can enjoy for years to come."
